This new-build, contemporary country home project is shown here under construction on a very special Devon countryside site. It is significant in scale but has been designed to nestle into its site, its form echoing the gentle undulating curves of its landscape, and its natural materials carefully chosen to tone with the local surroundings throughout the seasons. The natural stone walls curve gently around the forms of the house, which is topped by a dramatic, undulating copper-clad roof. The house replaces the owners’ existing family home so the design has been carefully refined with them over several years before starting on site. The project has recently been completed and we look forward to sharing the images.
